Police in THIER OWN WORDS from THIS WEEK ONLY.

– “The officer was behaving properly by using text and email” department response when Deputy Andrew Wood killed a bicyclist and former Napster COO while the Deputy texting and using email while driving

– “We will not cover the medical bills” response in Habersham County for the medical bills of the baby cops threw a flashbang grenade at (in a home which turns out had no drugs or suspects)

– “If you don’t want to get shot or tased….just do what I say” LAPD officer defending Ferguson in his article in the Washington Post

– four or five chiefs criticized the Ferguson chief for not taking a harder line against citizens

– at least a dozen cops wrote Op Eds on why they need militarized equipment or arguing it’s not militarized at all (meanwhile it was revealed that Brovard County Florida has purchased EIGHT Apache warship helicopters at $18 million each)

– “I’m sick of these protesters. You are a burden on society and a blight on the community.”
“These protesters should have been put down like a rabid dog the first night,” Ferguson police Officer Mathew Pappert on Twitter. Interesting he didn’t call them “looters” but called them “protestors”.

– “I’m gonna f—ing kill you” another Ferguson officer – to a journalist while the officer pointed his rifle at the unarmed man

– “I personally believe in Jesus Christ as my lord savior, but I’m also a killer. I’ve killed a lot. And if I need to, I’ll kill a whole bunch more. If you don’t want to get killed, don’t show up in front of me, it’s that simple,”. St Louis officer who worked on the Ferguson response Dan Page who also ranted about race, women and liberals

– “No comment” Ferguson police when asked why officer Justin Cosma was allowed to serve after leaving another department which he left after being sued for hog tying and choking a 12 year old boy

– “It was justified” police department in response to complaints about why officers used a taser on an eight year old girl in Pierre South Dakota

– “No comment” on why a heavily armed military style SWAT team in Colorado raided Jordan Mathewsons office while he was playing a shooting video game under reports they were looking for a “shooter”

– “I pledge to uphold the Constitution” Police Chief Shane Harger of the Jemez Springs, NM Police Department — the day after taking this oath with 35 other officers, he was relieved of duty for his “political affiliations”

– Sgt Brandon Ruff said that acts of violence “were committed willfully, wantonly, maliciously, intentionally, outrageously, deliberately and/or by conduct so egregious as to shock the conscience.” in his lawsuit In his lawsuit to the Philadelphia PD for brutality

– When a Jackson Florida cameraman invoked his 5th Amendment right, he is told by Sgt. Richardson, ”You must be doing something wrong if you invoke your rights.”

– Dawson Gore a St Louis County police officer “I’ve been embedded in St. Louis County for 14 years and I am going to tell you this on camera, that’s the worst entity I have ever worked for. I’ve been in the military, I’ve served the St. Louis metropolitan police department… but when I got there I ran into this big wall of cultural bias that I had never seen before.”

This is a very typical week.

We have to wonder….if this is how cops talk about citizens publicly….what do they say about us amongst themselves behind closed doors?
