In July 2011 I thought that if people riot, terrorize, set fire to buildings and cars, do millions of dollars in damage, injure 150 people and stab four people that they are our enemy and we should bomb them.

….Then I realized that killing all sports fans on earth just because of the Vancouver Canuck riots over the Bruins hockey loss might not be productive.

So I decided to not judge an entire people on the actions of a few criminals.

Thousands of people have been killed in sports related violence. As far as foreign policy and other major decisions it is statistically irrelevant.

Recent riots in Pakisan, Libya, Egypt and elsewhere make up a very small amount of the overall Muslim population… Far less than half a percent. Murders, terrorists and thugs are criminals whether they kill for sports, gang colors, drugs or religious ideology.

Judge people by their actions, their crimes and only their crimes.
