People have asked me what happened in Egypt.
Well,

We took money from American taxpayers to give cash and fighter jets to a dictator named Mubarak.

By the time the jets were ready, the dictator had been overthrown by his people, despite him using other weapons we gave him to fight his citizens.

He then retired to live off of all the money he stole from the country (much of which we gave him).

We cheered for the revolution and called it ‘democracy’ even though 1) it wasn’t democracy 2) we don’t have a democracy we have a Constitutional Republic 3) democracy is mob rule and a terrible goal in itself.

A new guy named Morsi from the Muslim Brotherhood took power and we decided to give him fighter jets and cash also, but Morsi turned out to be a petty dictator also and didn’t last long has been overthrown by a military coup.

The military is now firing at citizens and has placed a new guy in power who no one knows much about.
….but we are still sending cash and fighter jets — provided by hard working American taxpayers who will be placed in prison if they don’t agree to pay them….but we don’t actually know who will get and control that cash and those fighter jets or what their opinion of America is.
