If you want to see a fascinating freedom-related blog journey check out this one which started about green housing.

Looking at the posts as they were made you can see the journey of an MIT grad genius entreprenuer and inventor who sold his business and moved to Kentucky.

As he designed and built his own eco-friendly, green, off-grid home he became more and more active in politics, occasionally, apologetically posting political posts on his blog which was for timber frame homes.

A lot of people ask why politics is so dominated by lawyers and not by scientists or entrepreneurs.

He eventually volunteered on some campaigns and then ran for local office as Judge Executive of his county and won.

The final post on the blog is from a little over a year ago when he announced he was running for US Congress. He won.

Meet Thomas Massie , MIT genius, entreprenuer, business owner, off grid living green home builder and United States Congressmember.

The very first vote he made, day one in office was to vote against his party leader as Speaker instead voting for Rep Justin Amash.

He’s pro-freedom, anti-war, anti-Patriot Act and in favor of a government that stays out of our bedrooms and wallets.

His old timber frame blog is here.

His official US Rep page is here http://massie.house.gov/

He is an inspiration for people considering becoming more active in politics.
